I am happily married to Sarah Thornton. We have three beautiful kids together: Mitchell Jr. "MJ" (Age 6), Malachi "Chi" (Age 5), and Sadie Ann (Age 2).

2009 Graduate of Prattville High School. 2013 Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education from Faulkner University. 2018 Master's of Arts in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama.

June 2018-June 2022: Prattville High School Math Teacher, Assistant Football Coach, and Head JV Coach for Girl's Soccer.
July 2022-July 2024: 9th Grade Administrator at PHS!
July 2024-present: Principal at DPES!
